My first encounter with Atty. Surtida was not very pleasant. We never met personally but her reputation of being a good lawyer precedes her. I was just surprised by her frankness in telling me that my case was not a good one. When a petitioner came along that matched my course and qualification, she was also quick to say that my case was a winnable one. Only when I received by approved H-1B petition that I appreciated her frankness on taking a case that she is sure will pass INS scrutiny. One thing is for sure, Atty. Surtida takes each case seriously and devotes quality time to it.
